MW3 is official.

I really can't see myself getting this. CoD's campaign tend to be on the mediocre side.

Considering the glitches that can be found online, they don't always put a lot of care in that aspect either.

Meh.. the only way that I will get this is maybe is if they have dedicated servers, otherwise I already have 3 CODs that I can play which are exactly the same I don't need anymore.

Only way I'd get this is just a rental/borrow for the campaign. FPS MP can shove it in my opinion.

After having bad experiences with Fall of Man, R2, MW2 and Black Ops online I can officially say that I don't like FPS multiplayer. Because of that, I hardly get any game time with fellow clan members. I don't wanna play a game I don't like just to spend time with people.

I think I'll just borrow it when it comes out...If the story and multiplayer is horrible as the second one I'm not even gonna bother. They have revamp everything and bring some new stuff in if it wants to compete with battlefield 3

Either way Call of Duty has lost my interest.

i don't give two s**ts about the SP in COD games it is all ways crap
if the MP looks solid then i will more than likely pick it up
but this game is a long way of is it not ?

I think I am tired of the COD series and I've only had two of them.

I cannot think of giving more money to Sony until I see the PSN fixed. I'm not going to get excited about this game. I'll probably end up getting it, but only if the MP is sorted.

It's two things for me: MP and SP. I love SP campaigns -- that's all games had originally, so that's still what draws me to them. Alas, campaigns have been getting pathetically short these days *** points finger at MW2 box *** and unless the MP is absolutely rock solid by way of compensation I am then disappointed. Alas, MW2 MP was pretty solid in terms of game engine stability, but it put in such crass features such as OMA that enjoyment was lowered. Black Ops got rid of nearly all the noobiness of MW2 but compensated by building in flaky framerates, apalling hit detection, and a lag engine par excellence. With R3 and MW3 coming out in the autumn I think it will be an either/or for me (or perhaps, even, neither).

See I want to say R3 will be a sure purchase for me, but R2 was sooooooo 'kin awful for me that I will not be buying it until I hear lots of positives first. If I hear one meh then it's over.

I guess I wad just spoiled with FoM, everything seems to fail to meet the launch benchmark.

I was shocked to even see this thread. I thought I had heard that the MW's were being dropped when infinity handed over the keys.

I was counting on the R3 beta to give me some indication of whether to buy it or not, but with the PSN being down, who knows when/if that will happen now.

It just occurred to me November 8, 2011 is written in NA MM/DD/YYYY or 9/8/2011 but in EU that would be interpreted as almost a month earlier, October 9, 2011. I thought you where in the states Street.

@ETW the game will be developed by raven software, sledgehammer games and IW.

The thing that I liked the most about the campaign of MW2 was not the gameplay, but just the epic moments that came with the game.
