but I don't feel like uncharted has ever been a competitive shooter.
Agreed.

No, I believe that kickbacks will be out of the equation, same as it was with Hardcore mode. Boosters how ever I do believe and hope they are in the game.
I wish they weren't included. But it is Classic, and UC2 did have boosters in vanilla modes. Oh well, hopefully they pull off the mode.
I would hate that, it would be another version of power weapons. If they do make the classic mode work, that is the ONLY thing I'll be playing, too much other stuff goes on that really degrades the quality of this game
A decent Classic mode would be the ONLY thing keeping me playing this. I recently played a few games of the casual TDM mode.
Boy, this game is unbalanced in so many ways and just not enjoyable for anyone who isn't up for buying more dlc items and using the overpowered kickbacks/boosters/perks.
I don't see why people are talking about Uncharted 2 with such a bad taste in their mouth when this game has EVERY issue that Uncharted 2 has plus more stuff.
The lag is, imho, even worse in this game. Then you have far too many variables to go up against that it makes it really hard to have any kind of even playfield.
If the Classic mode doesn't fulfill what it promise, I'm returning this game to the stores.
I agree with you on almost everything. But I wouldn't sell it, you will only loose money. Just keep it as a reminder, and it will look good with the rest of the series.

But I have to agree with Jolli, I can't bring myself to sell my games. I just have to let the bad ones sit there and have them serve as a reminder that I can be an idiot sometimes.
Besides, some day I'll probably want to replay the story or have some co-op fun with a friend.
Yeah, I don't like to sell my games, all you will come away with is less money than what you paid for the game, true some money is better than no money but still
Decided to rock Elena and kick some hiney with my beloved Para-9.
Came across THE lagger. King Lagger. Atoq Navarro aka Jesus aka Immortal man.
I kid you not, this guy was horrible at the game and just ran around while I shot him. I counted the shots.....I made it to 17 (!) Para-9 bullets before he decided to become one wih reality again.
In all honesty I have no need for classic mode atm, seems most of the bsers are taking a break from the game, find myself going positive quite often, even in DM, which was by far the most aggravating of the game modes for me
It really was a HUGE disappointment for me, its more like an Old School version of Uncharted 3 than a Classic playlist. When I heard Classic I was hoping for the spawning with AK and Para-9 (which we got) but also wanted only boosters that had equivalents (or relative equivalents) to Uncharted 2 boosters, only M9s and G-MALs around the map long gun wise, and all of that stuff that made U2 great. Guess I was being too nostalgic about it, I just felt that Naughty Dog has left behind the game that made them, in my opinion, one of the greatest multiplayer game designers in the world.
supporting it is different then being an excellent designer. I dont think they are bad by any means, but number 1 when it comes to multiplayer is pretty bold. now if this was about single player or just in general I would agree ND is at the top. but MP specifically no.

Oh, we can all agree that they had problems in U2 but quite honestly I would rather play U2 than any CoD game, with U3 I'm not so sure. The shenanigans are quite ridiculous, the timer on grenades is a bit too long for me, can't tell you how many times I've thrown a grenade and just as its about to go off someone throws it back and adds like another second to the timer. I have encountered some improvements in the game as of late but I would really like a return to some of the old things, found that the guns were a little more balanced. True, the guns are more balanced now than they used to be just feel that some stuff is a little much.

yea id rather play this over cod as well, but that has little to do with them being excellent MP designers.
Yes I agree about it not being the BEST multiplayer game but I was referring to the fact that many on the ND forums were complaining about lack of support but if you look at the big picture ND, did quite a lot with U3, from dlc to huge patches with nerfs/extra modes and trophies etc.
