Riding in the Heli is Gold. You can rack up a ton of kills. SixPack launched the Nuke on Sat night. Hilarious.

Tactile nuke ends the game.
Kill streak of 25 I think opens it.

Its the "I win" button. Unless the other team has an EMP. Thats the "no you" button.

"Tactile" nuke? Like a plushy?
Surely you mean "Testicle" nuke?
When you see someone has it you say "bollocks".

I'm at the part where you're escaping the Favela in the campaign. About how far through am I?

Not sure, Omega. I just finished the Galug last night before bed. I think I'm a little over halfway, so you're not too far behind if that's the case.
Did something uncharacteristic with this game. The Pit recommended that I start on Veteran Difficulty. I should've known how hard it would be when the game asked me twice if I was sure. For all that though, I don't think I'm dying too much more than I did on R2's Hard mode.

I'm on normal. Normal is good for me.
Wolverines was kinda dickish, since the Ruskies kept getting on the roof (couldn't find the bloody claymores).
And is there an arcade mode? 'CAUSE I WANT AN ARCADE MODE.

Yeah, I haven't used anything but what the game starts me with on a level. Unless I run out of ammo, but that's only happened once.
Normally, I would start on the default difficulty too. Guess I was just a bit overconfident after the Pit. I'll play back through it again later to pick up a couple trophies I can't seem to get. Probably do that on normal or hardened.

So what does the EMP do? Cause I heard this kid go on and on about it in game.
And that knife throw was awesome.

Gulag is probably 75% of the way through.
Very very very short campaign. I was disappointed. I mean, even I've finished it. Fun. Awesome fun. But way too short. Like 6 hours too short.
Something weird too. I got the game three days early and played one round online. IW said they were going to reset the servers on release day to wipe the stats of everyone who played before the launch date. But mine didn't get wiped. I wish they had though as I played another round this evening and went 11 for 12 (compared with the 6 for 24 in my first round).

Thats kinda dickish... You get that and you can end the game... Fair enough you have to get 25 kill streak but still...

As far as I can tell EMP disables all electronics. They have no map, cant use the missiles etc.
It also makes your vision get all fuzzy. Like...tv snowy. idk how to explain it other than fuzzy

Actually, some of the killstreaks are so powerful that they actually effect the real world. The EMP, for example, actually temporarily damages your TV. The tactical nuke causes a little kid in Africa to get leukimia.
But in all seriousness, the nuke is the "I win" button, while the EMP is the "no" button.
I've also heard that the EMP knocks out the red dot sight and holo-sight. Can anyone confirm or deny this?

I haven't had an EMP launched against me yet. One of my buddies did launch one against the other team and it knocked their Heli out of the sky. I'm almost positive it disables everything from radar to red-dots.

EMP = electromagnetic pulse. In real life an EMP does, indeed, fry all electronics in its blast radius. This is what happens in the Washington episode of the MW2 campaign and why you lose the red dot sight and all other electronic functions. Actually, all nukes send out a powerful EMP when they detonate. Anyone remember that '80s movie The Day After? In that, all those people on the highway find their cars all stop working, then as they watch they see a mushroom cloud in the distance. The nuke sent out an EMP (it's a by product of the way nukes work).

I'm guessing that's for MW3 given what happens at the very end.
My question is: what happened to the rest of the campaign? 4.5 hours. You kidding me?
