GGS that was a lot of fun tonight guys. I love it when I can laugh and play and not be serious. Good shizz brother. I am off to figure out how to not have ETW kill me everytime I jump. And between Tec and Gore, I am going to have bad dreams about jumping off buildings and getting shot in the head.

@Morty: that custom game on Highrise was funny as heck. I kept finding you squatting in corners, or I'd just catch a glimpse of your back running somewhere so in either case I'd do the decent thing and put you out of your misery. The funniest two kills, though, were 1) where we were all trying to get onto that ladder as just as you jumped over the ledge I shot you in the head and 2) during the same period you snuck up on Wad or Techno or someone and knifed them so I immediately knifed you in the back. Good times. Also funny was when I put one round into Wadofgore just before he jumped off the ledge for the ladder; when he missed and fell to his death I got 25 points for Wad's "Assisted Suicide". Looks like King should check this game out. @Sponge: bring it on, baby. Too many times last night I got the first few rounds off but the other guy still dropped me. However, on the plus side, my k/d is nearer 0.6 than 0.2. @everyone: zOMG! 26 for 15 on a TDM in Rust and top place on the scoreboard (MVP). I used Hardline so I only needed three kills for a Care Bear package. It dropped but the whole enemy team swarmed me. But my team kept killing them. There was a stand off for a while until TechnoDiamond and I were able to take together: he provided suppressing fire while I harvested the Bear which contained.... a Pave Low. Then it was a case of sweeping the hidey holes and picking off the enemy. Awesome. Funniest kill of the day? The one on Morty was a close runner up, but this one wins because it was a 'real' kill in a ranked match. TDM on Highrise. Guy runs at me with riot shield up. Crap -- bullets don't hurt. But you know what does hurt? What Tom Hanks called a "sticky bomb". That's right. I slappped a Semtex package on his little shield and BLAM! Goodnight, Gracie! Alas he managed to get close enough to take me out too but it was sweet. Finally, on some map whose name I can't recally I killed two guys with that fixed Mini Gun (Wraith) that's in the upper floor window overlooking the courtyard and the approach tunnel. Sweet.

Great games tonight with the boys from M&A. We flat out owned in those Demolitions matches. I think I really learned a good bit by watching you guys play. Really nice teamwork and communication. Morty popped in for a couple rounds. Fun times. GGs with the Sixer, who witnessed my unlocking of the M16. Still getting used to the burst fire, but I think I've about got a handle on it. Highlights of my night: Going 26 - 7 in a TDM. Only Killstreaks I used were an Air Strike that got two people, and a Predator that got three (And my "kill three people with three different weapons in one life" challenge to boot). Leveled up a few times. Got the M16, as I already said, and completed a few challenges for it. Going for thermal scope now. Got the Final Stand perk, and used it to surprise several people who thought I was a goner. Granted, I was, just not quite yet. Classic kill of the evening was getting my Misery Loves Company challenge out of the way. Found a sniper on the ridge in Afghan. Walked up to him and pulled the pin on a grenade. Then just edged around in front of him. He had a second to look surprised before we blew up. ^_^ Discovered the secret to not being spawn killed. Don't die. Went 9 - 1 in Karachi. Total fluke. Just kept running around and hardly finding anyone. When I did they were looking the other way, except that one time. And I was only a minute away from a perfect game too. *sigh* This game can be really fun when the lag doesn't kill you. Thankfully, tonight I stayed in the light green most of the time.

That would be Skidrow, Eatty. Also, when taking on a noob in Riot gear, if he is walking or running, you can aim for his legs/feet, Ive already killed a couple noobsaucers this way, its sweet to see them crumble and fall. Ill be on in about 3 hours, Ill see if ur about. :o P.S. Its good to see you actually enjoying this game now, thought we almost lost ya due to campers and lag.

Had some fun droping an AT round on Sponge's head from a great height. Came top of the board on that TDM. Then a few rounds with Sponge, Broken, Leo, X-factor, Mudasx, etc. Not so fun for me. Broken and co. are so vicious they end up 33-1 and launching the nuke by about the time I have managed 2 kills. I couldn't really see what they were doing to be so good and there wasn't anything on the mic chatter to clue me in. Got demoralised after those games and signed off. Played an FFA on Highrise today. Was quite fun at first. Managed to destroy a guy's Insertion Point. Was leading most of the game until some stoopid gay camper n00b found his way onto the roof of that building that is only accessible by that leap-of-faith jump. He spent the whole game up there sniping everyone (must have has Insertion Point too). I tried to get him but his profile was just too low for my level of aim. Grrrrr.

I hate that. Im sorry I see it as glitching out of the map. I know it will be a debate, but its just my opinion. I know that yes, you CAN get up there (and like 3 other places on that map) but I really dont think it was intended to be in the map. idk

Really, its free kills if you catch them trying to make the leap, but if one makes it up there... yeah, you get games like Ets. And thats just not fun or fair.

Theres three places in that map you can kind of wiggle onto.
Im not too good at the ladder climb, and Ive never landed the leap of faith.
Getting up on the cranes and bridges isnt too tough but I dont know I remember the exact way to get up there. groovy only showed me once himself |

Interesting, guys. I've never actually seen anyone get all the way up there on the side with the broken window cleaning things. I have seen one that they didn't show in the video, though. This person had managed to get on top of the actual crane that's outside the main map. Not the long part that people run on all the time, but the tall part that holds it all up. No idea how they did it. Didn't stop me from sniping them either.

I don't know why the hell people go out there, it's a horrible spot...you might pick up one or two kills but after that you're so exposed you're guaranteed to get killed. |
