| It's funny how people play differently. I always sprint around. I find that when people move slow they are easy targets. You don't even have to aim at a slow moving target to drop them. But, whatever works for you is the way to go. |

See, thats weird, because I can have a clear shot lined up on someone I've flanked who is engaged with another target out of my view, and three or four hits from the FAL in the chest area doesn't kill them, I just don't get it. I'm looking forward to upgrading from the Scar to the m16, I had decent luck with that in MW1. I find that the FAL has been my most difficult weapon to rank up thus far, having the single action tends to throw me off. I'm more suited to crouching and walking around the entire map searching for kills, but sometimes frustration sets in and I sprint around looking for people, and it tends to get me killed more often than not. |

| I should clarify that I don't just sprint around the map all game. I sprint to a location, flag or cover. I'm not really the smartest player around when it comes to being tactical.
Try out the ACR. I've been using that a lot and it's greatness. |

| I can't kill anybody with the Fal. My best weapon so far is the Scar. It's pretty accurate and I have enough long distance kill medals to know it's working for me. I'm trying my hand at the WA2000 at the moment but I'm killing so few people with it I might just go back to the Scar. Haven't got the M16 yet but looking at the weapon specs it doesn't seem much different on paper than the Scar but is limited to a 3-round burst.

| I find there's quite a delay to aim though. So if I run around and someone sees me, it's generally too late already cause it takes too long to aim the gun (obviously I'm using assault rifles and not getting one hit kills).
Now something I've found very useful as well is squatting. Don't know why, and you would think there would be a better chance at getting shot in the head, but it really screws with people if you squat while firing. I haven't mastered proning yet, so never really use it.
I'm certainly no world beater, but just little things that have helped me. Heart beat monitor made a world's difference as well.
My latest thing I've grown to love is the one man army pro. I use Scar, and I can repeatedly choose my Scar class and completely re-ammo. I find it better than scavengar in case I am up on a perch and don't want to come down. Plus it lets me pull up a stinger if needed without carrying it around all the time. |

| Sponge was trying to teach me to go prone at first sight of an enemy but I found it near impossible to press Circle and adjust the aim with the right stick at the same time. And then I discovered the 'Tactical' button layout. all it does is swap Circle with R3 so now you can press R3 while pushing it up to make for a drop to prone while maintaining aim in one smooth action. Melee is now Circle. |

ACR+Stopping Power+Red Dot = nasty. I do like the Scar a lot too. |

Thats why I use Slight of Hand. For the faster hip fire |

Thats why I use Slight of Hand. For the faster hip fire I just can't make myself use that over bling pro or now army of one pro. I'm playing right now with the heart monitor and no red dot which is killing me, but without army of one my scar runs out of bullets. I really need more perks. |

| I haven't even gotten to Army of One yet. I'm only at level 31 or 32. Does Infinity Ward have a system like Bungie to track yourself online? That's one thing that is nice about Halo, is that you can track your progress online.
Is this one of those places where you're only allowed to like one of any type of game and hate all the rest? Or is it okay that I like Halo and MW? |

| Let the freak have his opinion, Jon. Seriously not a problem at all, Ray, this is the Sixth Nation of Gamers after all. I tried 'One man army' for the first time last night and hated it. I thought you would have the ability to switch classes for the whole match but no... If you switch to a class that doesn't have 'One man army' then you're stuck until you die and respawn with it again. And you're expected to give up a perk slot and your secondary weapon for this? I'll stick with Scavenger pro and my PP2000 with extended mags, thank you very much. |

| Ah, gotcha Leo. I post on another forum where you're apparently not allowed to like several different games in the same genre, let alone across consoles. The pillow fighting is ridiculous. Booyah, Jon |

| The pillow talk here is better.
ETW just discovered a new loadout:
UMP45 + rapid fire Marathon Lightweight Commando
On a small map = ETW going positive at last
And I put in the Stinger as secondary. Shot down 3 harriers in one game. |

People that shoot down all my stuff within 3 seconds of it being in the air really grind my gears. |

Yeah, you want 'Ninja' perk for that, cold blooded just does UAV, thermal, air strikes, sentry guns etc... |

Meh, it's what balances those silly killstreak rewards out. As soon as I see that Harrier/Hind/Pave Low I pull out the Stinger. What surprised me the few times I have had those weapons was that nobody shot them down. I think I got 12 kills with a Chopper Gunner I got in a care package. |

That's why I was puzzled. Perhaps he just eyeballed me, but it seemed unlikely given where we were both standing and the killcam did seem to show my position on his sensor. |

For the first 3 or so weeks of this game, nobody shot anything down. If you got to a Harrier, it was almost guaranteed you'd get a chopper and a nuke. Then people caught on and it's been a pain ever since. It's like, "got a harrier, I'm on my way to...BOOM...oh, that's disappointing." Having somebody on your team that shoots that stuff down in extremely valuable. We have a guy that has probably a .5 KD. However, his job is to camp flags, communicate, and to shoot everything out of the sky. He's extremely good at it and really contributes to the team's success. |

| I'm finally getting decent with the Intervention. Though I still need to work on moving through the map as a hunter-killer sniper (rather than a camper).
And I agree that anti-air players are invaluable; we had a guy get a chopper gunner on wasteland today, and I'm pretty sure that everyone died at least ten times from that one killstreak... |
