Sorry if theres already a topic on it, I did a search and nothing came up. Just thought I'd make a post about it. This and Uncharted 2 are taking up a lot of my time lately as I just got another PS3 after my old one died ;/
Love this game. The graphics are great and the gun selection is very impressive. I just started (level 6 or so) and so far im loving it. If anyone has it and wants to do some looting together I'm in.

While I think the art-style is fresh and unique, I probably won't get into this one. Its just too open world for my liking and if I'm going to spend that much time on a game it will be with a good RPG like kingdom hearts or the next final fantasies. Stories generally are what drags me in and keeps me involved in a game and its world.
However, queens you should definitely his up DJ, Ratchet or me for some U2 goodness whenever you're on

I've seen several good things about this game. Big Fallout 3 fan. However, I plan to hold off purchase until I see the reviews for Rage, which is a very similar title. The inclusion of vehicles (and vehicle combat) might be the deal breaker for me. I love the open world games like FO3, or the Elder Scrolls games, but let's face it: Travel kinda sucks. I mean, yes, there is fast travel, and we like it very much, but a nice ATV, or 4-wheeler, or hover-tank, or something would really help getting to new places. I expect a few vehicles reminiscent of those in Jak 3. However, there are supposed to be several different ways to customize your cars, too. This could be a lot of fun. Either way, I'll be waiting impatiently until I can pick out a clear winner in the contest for my attention/funds/life.

My budget may be in trouble here. Still gonna wait for Rage's review, I think. The only thing that might kill it for me now is the limited inventory. I'm more than a bit of a...collector (read as, "Pack Rat"). You do not want to see my houses in Oblivion.

Not sure on borderlands... Cel Shading never attracted me, but after reading the back of the pack too it sounds like a four player Shoot em up thats online against waves of people.
Whats Rage?

That's just an early trailer that doesn't show much gameplay. Turns out the game's not due until March over here. Difference between the two from what I gather is that this is more 'Fallout-y' while Borderlands is more 'space-y'.

So, the other day a friend of mine says, "Hey, come check out this new game I've been playing. It's called Borderlands." Against my better judgment, I go over and low and behold, there is a pretty darn awesome game. I was caught up and immediately went out and bought it. Very fun game so far. I luv me them sidequests. Still not finished with the first playthrough, but I will be soon and after that, I'll be in a party mood. Anyone who sees me on can feel free to join me.

Just got out of my first game of MP, and the difficulty sure is ramped up. I expect to get a good bit of fun out of it. Really need to work together too. Gonna do some more before I form a real opinion.
Oh, and my Random Power has delivered to me a person who had the "And They'll Tell Two Friends..." trophy so I now have it. If anyone wants it, then feel free to join me in a game. (It's the one you get for playing with either a Gearbox employee, or someone who's played with one.)

Okay, that looks like the absolute coolest video game of all time...
But question... Why is it so off the radar? Why did it go all the way to release without me knowing a damn thing about it?
And more importantly, how am I supposed to buy this and play it with MW2 coming out next week.
Too many games, too little time...

Good questions Leo. Seeing the ads on TV I was pretty impressed. I remember thinking...this game looks so cool. How come no one has been talking about it? On my to do list. There are a lot of games on my to do list.
Any game that has 87 gabillion guns is on my to do list

This game is definitely on my watch list. Unfortunately there are too many games coming out for the latter part of this year, so Ill have to push this one back for another time.

Ugh, too much time being taken up by hockey, uncharted 2, and in the future MW2! Plugging along here though. Level 23. If any of you want to jump in a game feel free. Don't worry i'm not a loot hog, I just basically live to score the critical hits

Just got my hunter to level 50 the other night. Be happy to help you out later this evening if you like. What class are you? I may have some loot you might like. I'll probably be on in a couple of hours so, if you'd like then feel free to send me a friend invite.
