The last actor I saw with a Magnum was Benicio del Toro.

Can't really see Clint with one.

Unless.....the scene is set. Dirty Harry. 1971.

Harry comes out of the diner, biting off the cold chocolate shell on his Magnum.

After shooting up all manner of sh8t, he goes up to a fallen guy who has ideas of of taking the Dirty One's favourite ice cream.

Giving the dude the eye, Harry says "You've gotta ask yourself one question. Do I feel lucky? Well, do ya punk?"

Why am I not excited for 3? I loved 1 and 2, but cant figure out my non interest in 3. Maybe its because they killed the main character...or the fact that I already have 5 must buys in a month or two time frame that I dont want to add another. lol

Personally, Im trying to cap my own hype.
Im excited for the game, there is no question there.
But I think the main real reason for a less enthusiastic approach for me anyhow comes in the knowledge that really......the game is just like every other fps out there now.

There's little to set it apart from the rest.

Except this story...which looks to be kind of epic.

You've mostly nailed it for me too, Sixer.

In my case, the story doesn't even really interest me much. I didn't really care for Capelli to being with, let alone want to see him as the star. And the whole killing off Hale thing annoyed me. Probably more so because putting a bullet through the main character was an trend there for a while. One I really hope goes away.

I'm still willing to give this a chance though.

I am a huge fan of playing games for story, I think the story in this doesnt appeal to me. Killing HAle really hurt it as it felt like the end and you are right about Capelli...I dont care about him. Alos, FPS are getting me down lately...I prefer 3rd person anyway.

tbh idk how i feel about it. i think the square inner eye sockets and circular outer sockets done really jive too well. they should have stuck with the oblong ones they had on the FoM cover

I don't think that it looks bad, but I don't think that it displays the Resistance feel, it looks a bit too modern and doesn't convey the final stand struggling to survive feel that the trailers and gameplay seem to feel like to me. It needs to be dirtier and rougher in my opinion.

Sorry eatty. But it does. And coming from me thats worth a ton cause really I dont much get into story's anymore and I all but HATED R2's.
So ironically, its still MP that looks a bit lack luster to me.

I personally like the cover. Simple yes, but I like its feel.

COD ruined FPS games for ever. ive been saying that since MW came out

they tend to the lazy gamer. you know, the ones who can be bothered to actually take on a challenge, or put real effort into being good at a game (learning how to camp a spawn isnt skill). they would rather have it all spoon fed to them

To be honest, I agree with you on the CoD factor. It has changed the landscape of shooters completely, and yes, not always for the better. HOWEVER, I have faith in IG. These guys have delivered highly entertaining games for me for all of my gaming life, and I don't expect that to change with R3.

Its not bad. But I'm not digging it. R1 and R2 with all of its varients are much better IMO. Hopefully thats just the PAL boxart.

Isnt that exactly the same picture but with Capelli on it.

Somehow it adds a different vibe though....much better than without a capelli in it thats for sure.

Nothing was ever improved by adding Capelli.

The one that DJ put up is far better.
