| To prestige or not. I now have the option. But given that it has taken me since the launch date to hit level 70, is it really worth me prestiging and losing all the weapons I actually do well with? |

All prestiging does is open up new create a classes' and adds new titles/emblems. Thats it. No new weapons/colors/outfits nada. zip. nothing. So, its up to you Eat, I will not prestige, I think its the gay. |

YES! Use the Ak on small to medium size maps. Equip the red dot or silencer ot ensure straight pwnage. Equip Stopping power and steady aim. Use marathon or sleight of hand. AK is one of the most powerful guns in the game. If you handle her right, she will be more than rewarding. |

| Strange thing with the AK is the way it 'Iron-sights'.. Your target point is actually below your sight, and you have to compensate for this when you aim. The gun kicks ass though, as long as you keep it under control. I wouldn't prestige, ETW, if it's going to take you ages to get back again. Simply not worth it. |

| @eattie- Me calls it a strafing knife as its when...
A person is shooting at you in a stationary spot and you run on an angle towards them just keeping infront of the bullet spray ark, at the last second when you lined up next to them you move the left joystick left or right (towards target) without touching the right joystick, then press R3 when moving across to knife. If lucky your melee will get you through the bullet spray and get them (Does not work on Shotties)
It hard to describe it lol. |

| Sounds like you may be better off not prestiging ETW, it's up to you. It really boils down to how much you play. I was advised to do it at least once to unlock the extra prestige challenges. ProAs said, the only thing you get is an extra slot in create a class so you can have an extra loadout. You get an extra slot every other prestige. You get to keep any titles you have unlocked - So what? Unless you are really in love with your current title. There are a few more challenges available to you. ConEverything else you lose No clan tag, no custom classes until you unlock them again. Start again with all of the unlocks on weapons and perks etc. MeI have done it twice, and intend to do it again, but I like the pretty badges I also like it as I felt I wasn't achieving anything when at the end of the round the points I had earnt were irrelevant. I leveled up quite quickly after prestiging so that was nice to see how I had improved, even without the weapon unlocks, and it made me go back to weapons I hadn't really played with before. First time around I never used the M16 and after unlocking the AK I don't think I would have gone back to it. |

| Probably early next week is a good time to prestige. We should get double XP with the new map pack. So, you can rank up quick. |

| Prestiging is kinda crappy at first, but it doesn't really take all that long to get your stuff back - I use the FAMAS, M4, Intervention, and Barrett a lot no matter what rank I'm at, so I the only thing is miss really is the ACR (lvl 48) and Ninja...I'm liking the TAR21 quite a bit these days too, but it doesn't take long to get that back. Scavenger gets unlocked early too, so my normal loadouts are back to normal in couple hours anyway.
Like someone said before, I'd prestige at least once just to get the extra challenges unlocked, it gives you some extra goals to go for and keeps things interesting... |

| ^That's why I did it once. I was getting a bit bored with the game and then I was playing with Six one night when he suddenly went down to level one. I figured, why not? On the way back up I learned to snipe decently, if not on a Hoosian level. That made things interesting again for a bit, but when I set my goal of getting a 1.0 I went straight back to my beloved ACR. It carried me back up to level 70 much faster than the first time. Currently not sure how much I'll play in the future. As I said before, I don't think I'll be getting the map packs for a very long time, if ever, so if I was in party I'd hold people back from the new maps they'd paid for. Plus, three bad games would probably knock me back down to .99. Aside from that, I'm a little burnt out on it. Gonna make MAG my new source of frustration for a while. All that said, I won't put off the possibility for prestiging again if I do return to MW2. Just to make things interesting again. |

I would advise against it. I regretted prestiging like 3 hours after I had done it. Still haven't gotten back to 70 yet, I'm still like 20 levels away. Taking me forever to get the AK back. I used it for a little bit, and it was pretty cool. |

Unless you are me. If I didnt want that damn Ak back so bad this game would be being used as a Frisbee now. |

| @ Six - TAR 21 and the AK are pretty damn close...you can use that to tide you over. Scavenger, Stopping Power, and Steady Aim or Ninja, w/Holographic. 3 bullets or so to kill someone, the recoil is about as much as the AK although a little different. Don't like the Red Dot on it though, it's that MARS sight or whatever....Just have to burst fire to get people from long range (AK too)...
@ Street - M4 = ACR with just a little more recoil.... |

Try losing the silencer, you'll find a lot more enemy come looking for you and then you can flank them with your stealthyness. Hell, if it's Cold-blooded Pro, you can just lay down and watch them walk past you.. |
