I have done every questline including the main thieve's guild quests . I know you have to keep doing the littl jobs from Vex and that other guy until you do 5 in a certain city , then you get given a main quest for that city . You have to do this for all 4 cities to get the trophy . The issue is that I have done these main quests for Windhelm , Whiterun and Markarth . However , I have NEVER been given even a small job to do in Solitude , let alone all 5 and then the main quest for Solitude . Is there something I'm missing ? . I cannot even do 1 small job in Solitude therefore the Platinum may never be achieved .

Any help ? , I have started and abandoned the quests continuously over the last half hour and still no Solitude options . Bethesda can go itself . I have been working towards this platinum for ages and some stupid bug lets me down on the final stretch .

so you said you did every single other thieves guild quest?

there is 1 thing that might be causing this. did you finish the civil war on the storm cloak side?

your talking about the main quest line. he is talking about the side jobs delvin and vex give you which are randomly generated

After completing three of the four City Influence Quests, Tonilia's side quest becomes available. If this quest is left ignored, it will be very difficult to pick up any side job for the last city.

While not game breaking, the Civil War Quests Defense of Whiterun or Liberate Whiterun can render some houses inaccessible in Whiterun for the Special Jobs. If this is the case, just quit the job and get another.

I went for stormcloaks and had already captured Solitude , sure that would render some houses inaccessible but I'm not sure it would render getting a single mission in Solitude impossible ? .

I have been forced to start a new character . So far I have discovered the 5 main cities and have done 8 mini jobs for the guild , 2 of them have been in Solitude . However , now I'm not getting any jobs in Markarth .

did you know the more jobs you take in rapid succesion the less likely you are to get one in a hold you need? if you wait a while, and come back your chances improve

So I finished the main quest. Mother fuckers didn't even throw me a party.

I was trying to get the Master Criminal trophy last night. Just fast travelling to each major town and killing someone. Cut someone's head clean off in Solitude which was cool, and put a sword right through the foxy bard in Dawnstar.

Anyway, got about 5 holds done then accidently jumped off a bridge and died, so gotta do it all again tonight.

I messed up the daedric artifacts trophy because I saved the old guy. I'd read somewhere that there were 16 artifacts and you only need 15, but didn't read further and see that you need to do a bit of jiggery-pokery to get two artifacts from Hircine.

any word on expansions coming out?

I was disappointed yesterday when I finished the main quest line that no one threw me a party or anything.

It was pretty anticlimactic, though. Maybe that's just because I was level 62 with amazing gear.

I think I'm going to start legitimately working on mine now that I beat all the major questlines.

I had to start another character just to get the "return thieve's guild to former glory" trophy , cos Devin and Vex wouldn't give me any jobs for Solitude . Had to do entire Thieve's guild questline and side jobs again .

I think I may shelve this game for a while , got other games to play and my copy is starting to get the bad framerate issues . I will possibly come back and create a mage character but I have got a good share of what this game offers and I have had enough for now .

Congrats on the Plat !! I haven't even looked at my medals yet, I had a terrible framerate drop today I had to just quit. It seems like if I play more than a couple of hours lately it appears. I haven't patched it up yet. Has anyone done the patch and had framerate issues fixed ??

Apparently Bethesda are at work on a big patch specifically for this PS3 lag , don't now when it will be released however .

I have not done any if the patches yet from memory the patches had sone big flaws.

My copy started lagging terribly after the 90 hour mark , only when I played more than 1.5 hours straight though .

mitch did you change the auto save time ?
its set to auto save every 15min i think but if you change it to a longer time then it helps
may need conformation from one of peeps that have done it.

I turned off every autosave there is , I was surprised the lag held out that long TBH
