Thats about what happens to me. I notice it is worse in snow and busy scenes. Its probably a good idea for me to stop after a couple hours of play anyway lol |

I think I may shelve this game for a while , got other games to play and my copy is starting to get the bad framerate issues . I will possibly come back and create a mage character but I have got a good share of what this game offers and I have had enough for now . Congrats on the Plat !! I haven't even looked at my medals yet, I had a terrible framerate drop today I had to just quit. It seems like if I play more than a couple of hours lately it appears. I haven't patched it up yet. Has anyone done the patch and had framerate issues fixed ?? According to Bethesda Blog I was reading yesterday new patch is in beta on steam which fixes a lot of issues including framerate after long play on ps3 and some questlines. Congrats on the plat mitch! I'm only missing the daedric artifacts trophy now, gonna revert to the save I made just before I didn't take the skull of corruption. Can't remember what level I was or which other artifacts I had at that point, but still quicker than starting from nothing. |

| Framerate issues were never fixed, but I hear the patch helped them some. I never played pre patch, so I'm not sure. I usually got framerate issues in cities/near dragons after my save file got over 10 mb, but usually everything would clear up eventually. Also try making sure autosave on travel is off.
I platinumed this game last night. Thank god that you can get both hircine's ring and savior's hide, because one of the Daedric quests was bugged for me (The one with the abandoned house in markarth) and I couldn't ever start it.
I think I'm going to shelve it and move onto Fallout 3 and NV. And FFT: War of the Lions for my iPhone. |

| @ Jmw566 - GRATS ON THE PLAT!
After much debate, and self loathing over the waste of points, I deleted all my saves and started a new character. Focusing on stealth and archery... and of course necromancy (although illusion is looking good)! I'm a wood elf, and sticking with light armor this time (what a difference for stealth, wow!). Planning on doing the x15 dagger damage (for opening attacks in close quarters).
Having a lot of fun with it so far. It will be great sneak in to a room, assisinate a few people, then cast dual antronachs or whatever I want, to clear the rest... I have my guide, I have Skyrim, and I'm taking my time exploring more this time and spending points. Glorious!

| @ Jmw566 -Congrats on the Platinum
I might do something similar Rhynox my character is a middle of the road Imperial and there are better races to be sneaky or a brawler. I'm still having great fun..... only have to turn off the PS3 when I get framerate issues. What a difference those Daedric weapons make tho I shoulda got a few of em earlier. I was too busy picking things and eating them to find out the effects.... sorta like my early teen years. |

| Just got my platinum last night ...after doing most of the daedric quests for the second time, or third time in some cases where the game crashed before I saved my progress. |

| Soon as I finished the main quest I got bored. Weird. Being playing Dragon Age 2, waiting to get FFX13-2. Go back to this in a few weeks. |

| let me know how ff13-2 goes. ive been on the fence about getting the first one, but maybe a better sequel might motivate me to beat 13-1. |

| I'm Bumping this for a very important reason . The latest long-awaited PS3 patch for Skyrim has arrived and players are all ready reporting such an mprovement in lag that the PS3 version is nearly par with the 360 version . It is still inferior but not by very much now , Bethesda , your doing something right . Now the game is playable again !! Download the patch , load up a save file and then immediately save to overwrite the laggy original save . Then reboot the game, load up the same save file and you will see results . I personally went to whiterun which allways lags terribly and after some arrival shudders it is virtually lag free . Thanks a bunch Bethesda . Here's some more info.... Here are Bethesda’s recommendations to ensure a smooth, lag-free dragon-killing experience.
“The 1.4 patch for Skyrim includes many performance-enhancing updates for the PlayStation 3. A few important things to note:
1. To ensure the fastest jump in performance after applying the patch, be sure to first create a new manual save by entering the save menu and choosing “save game.” You should then restart your PlayStation 3 before continuing to play.
2. If you encounter strange behaviour while playing immediately following application of the patch, do not be alarmed – this is a temporary effect of Skyrim scripts correcting themselves after the update. Once this process runs its course, be sure to make a new save and restart your PlayStation 3.” |

| After installing last night, went into game and it completed task 'Obtain Briar Heart' so I was finally able to finish the Repair White Phial quest. Still a couple of impossible misc quests hanging around. Need to talk to some priest which will be difficult because *I ate him* Still no sign of Lydia and my full set of Dragon Plate armour. I'll have to do a thorough check of the last dungeon I remember being with her. Never really had much of a problem with the lag. If it got a bit choppy I just quit game and reloaded, but good they haven't forgotten about us. |

| I feel like I should go back and complete some more stuff, but it's so hard to self motivate when I just wreck everything and have done all the main quest lines/have platinum. |

| Same here. I'll not be playing again until there's an expansion with more to do. |

| Here's a mad question, how can I sneak up really close to a dragon while wearing heavy armor? I managed to get quite close to one before, but how can I get right up to one without it waking up? |

| Get *really* good at sneaking. Muffle spell/enchantment. Fortify Sneak enchantments on the armor.
Still hard to pull of in heavy armor though. |

| Thanks CobaltMonkey! I've got a sneak skill of 80, but that and the Fortify Sneak enchantment still doesn't make up for the weight of my armor. Might have to go back to Nightingale or Dark Brotherhood armor and level up my sneak more if I'm going to backstab dragons. |

| No problem. If you've finished the questline that gets you the Nightingale set, then you can use on of the three abilities to become invisible. Couple that with Muffle and you should be able to walk right up to it, crouch behind it, and sneak attack. Didn't try this myself though, so take it with a grain of salt. |

| Get the heavy armor skill that gets rid of armors weight while you are wearing it. |

| I'm working my way through the heavy armor skill tree so I should be able to get that skill quite soon.
By the way Cobalt I've seen a guy on YouTube sneak attack a dragon so it does seem possible but I think it would be pretty difficult. |
