| I don't think anyone's posted this yet... I'm not keen on trawling 10 pages to check either, LoL... [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.]"Spec-op" mode. Looks cool, especially seeing as you can choose which way you attack each mission. |

| I searched but I guess we dont have a topic for the first MW? Anyhow, with Josey and K locked in a full unranked R2 game, I threw MW in last night being prompted by Leos beastly vid. UHm...I suck. I had been given a false sense of hope. The first game I came in second even though the lead guy was miles ahead of me in kills. I went positive though and I actually got to use a perk for the three kills in a row. Go me!!! Kind of went down hill from there. Tried some sniping. eh. Tried some running around just shooting everyone...eh. I seem to have dying down pretty well so....eh. But idk... now that most of my psn list is playing uncharted, I may be in here a lot more. Its fun. But as always the change of controls kill me. I spent most of that first game trying to figure out how to crouch. |

don't worry six, when i started playing about a year and a half ago, i was running a .50 k/d ratio and coming in 4-6. eventually you get better, just takes a lot more time than R2 or RFOM would, because of the sheer amount of camping and other weird nuisances. i'm greatly looking forward to MW2, especially since a lot of old school guys are coming back for it and there seems to be a lot of new interest from people who have hated the entire CoD series. should be great fun, especially since they fixed half of the host issues (only half). |

| I cannot wait for this game to be hitting the shelves in my area; heard there's a Prestige Edition, comes with a pair of (real?) Night Vision Goggles! Sounds expensive. |

Naw the NVG's are cheap plastic crapz assembled in some 3rd world country...I saw a pic of them somewhere, if I find it I'll post it up. Personally...collectors editions aren't usually worth the money (R2 for example...) |

Personally...collectors editions aren't usually worth the money (R2 for example...) very true. i got the hardened edition because i wanted the re-release of CoD. also, i pre-ordered in May...so eh, w/e w/e. i saw a video of someone using them, think it was a developer, and it looked like the kind of stuff you can buy at any toy store for like $39.99. |

Damn, I knew it was too good to be true. The hype was around so much over here; some are saying preorder Prestige Edition needs a $50 deposit, stating the overall pricing can be expected to $200 Singapore dollars. LOLZ. I really wonder what a particular local game shop (which I hate for bad customer service/misinformations/know-it-all attitude) will react to this news. |

| ok, so I've got this game now. Let the discussions commence for real.
So far I have played the first two orientation scenarios. Need to get used to a differently-weighted aiming system from R2. Also, looks like you can't make custom control layouts. I want to swap the crouch button (O) with the grenade button (R2) otherwise I'll forever be crouching when I intend to throw a frag. |
