The sad thing for me is that last game was my best of the night.

KZ to me gets 1000 times better once you rank up. I run Saboteur and Scout classes almost exclusively...

Sniping in this game rocks...and you don't HAVE to be too campy about it, and you can still do well....

SMG is the next best gun IHMO...

I love the SMG. The rate of fire is great for up close and personal situations. Very Happy= :D But I keep finding myself coming back to the STA (??) It's not much short of a semi-auto sniper on the open maps when you zoom... The poor opposition don't know where they're getting hit from and you can put them down with a few headshots if you don't get too trigger happy. Very Happy= :D

This game is the hardest for me as far as sniping.
I only get to use one if I find it laying around so I just don't get a whole lot of practice with it.
But I have a feeling that even if i did, I would still mega suck.

I just unlocked the sniper recently... It's harder than you think. Sad

People just move so fast through your scope, before you can line up a shot they are gone... Shocked

The STA is just a great weapon. It's a bit like the old R:FoM carbine, only better.

You've gotta lead a bit - it's not like Resistance or COD, where if they're in your cross hairs you fire and boom dead - it's almost like they put in the time it takes to actually pull in the trigger into the game - makes it all the sweeter when you nail em though.

Also a lot of people snipe from elevated positions, hell i do a lot too, however - if you can do it from level ground it's way easier - you only have to worry bout left to right, linin em up is way simpler

Anywayz, DLC announced two new maps, no confirmed dates yet. I just wish someone liked this game as much as I do....

Schweeeeeet.

New "precision" option for controls...dunno if it'll be any good but its there...

Most importantly, auto-round balancing for the stupid 14 v 10 in a 24 player room, and that you can join a friend a stay in faction and squad with the buddy you join over multiple games...very nice...so now you can play with your friends/clan, rather than against them.

And a patch so that the air bots aren't as fucking useless as before...I need 3 more badges w/air bots so I'm glad they finally tweaked it. That and the melee badges are the only ones I have left...

Assault class toned down so they're not so overpowered anymore...

Precision option?

If I hear reviews about this change I might re-rent the game to see if it helps. Previously the controls (and online modes) didn't make this game fun for me. Thanks for the info.

The girlfriend got me this game for our three year anniversary just gone.
Slight problem. I am at the little mining village with the scientist woman. Me and Rico have to open the antenna relay or something... Now i find the thing no problem and make my way to the handle at the end of the long narrow scaffolding like...yoke... turn the handle and nothing happens. When I press the objective button to find out what I have to do next it continues to point at the handle but I can no longer grab it. Tried restarting from a check point and getting there again, but no joy same thing. Should I restart the whole level in the hopes that this issue or glitch or whatever sorts itself out or should I restart the whole game?

This is the part that I am at in the Suljeva Village:

Two snipers should be in the building across from the one you're in, so spot
them, and kill them, using the wall by the far left window for cover. That's
all for the snipers, so drop out of the building from the window here, and
head up the steep hill into the building across. Kill the Helghast and when
you need cover, take a few steps back from the edge to conceal yourself from
their aim.

Move up when it appears clear, but be prepared for more. Kill some of the
Helghast in the building, then move up to it cautiously to finish the rest.
Follow Rico in the building when the Helghast are all dead (the music stopping
is your cue) and kill any petrusite spiders that attack you with a melee or
knife attack. Get upstairs and kill the Helghast outside before you go out.

Head into the structure outside and head down the path. You'll be attacked
by Sentry Bots on the walkway here. Shoot them down with whatever you have,
they're not as tough as ATACs. Climb the ladder at the end and turn the valve.
Start backtracking to rendevous with the rest of Alpha Squad. Kill the
attacking Helghast and continue backtracking to rendevous with Alpha Squad.

When you get back to the crashed (and now burning) intruder, another group
of Helghast attack. There isn't very much cover here, so push through slowly
to survive. If you charge straight up to them, you will die. Head in to the
building in the direction the Helghast were and make your way through. It
leads to a metal walkway, so follow that to its end and there is a weapon
rack and some grenades. Watch out for more petrusite spiders around here.

Head up a flight of stairs and two Helghast will ambush you. Another two are
on a walkway to your left. Kill them and sentry bots attack. Destroy it
and more Helghast attack from the other door on the walkway. Head left
through the door and down into a room with a smashable crate. The exit
is right around the corner from where you came down. Take the
grenades from the crate before heading out.

In the train yard outside the next room, Helghast attack from both sides.
From far right with LMGs and VC9s and closer left with LMGs. Step out of the
room to fire a little at the closer enemies on the left, but go back in for
cover. Kill all the closer Helghast, then grab the VC32 from the
weapon rack in the room you came from. Snipe all the enemies attacking from
the right (when leaving the room). When they're dead, head over there and
grab some VC32 ammo from the weapon rack and head up the stairs.

Snipe the two Helghast on the far end of the walkway straight from the top of
the stairs, then make your way over the walkways and kill the rest with a
closer ranged weapon. Head to the end of the catwalk marked when you press the
objective button.



Now heres the funny thing, non of the enemies mentioned above are there... its like a clear walk straight to the end objective... and when I reach the end of the catwalk and finish the objective nothing happens, the game does not progress... Gonna retry re-starting the level must be a glitch,
