R2's twin goes straight in the bin. Or it would if I bought it, which I wouldn't. I hope the beta gives a good impression of what it's going to be like. Some good character models, smooth animation, tight hit detection, and accurate weapons would go a long way towards putting it ahead of R2.

They should just re-sell RFoM, but title the covers- Resistance 3. That would be a hit!

Resistance 3 Will Support Move, 3D
Yesterday during Insomniac Games’ third annual Community Day, it was revealed that Resistance 3, the team’s upcoming first-person shooter, will have support for PlayStation Move and Stereoscopic 3DTV’s. Additionally, as shown in the picture above, the Move Sharp Shooter peripheral will also be featured for the title.
The reason mostly comes from the launch of Killzone 3 and the upcoming release of SOCOM 4, both of which support Move. Insomniac’s Senior Community Manager James Stevenson stated:
“After Killzone 3 launched, we heard a massive amount of positive feedback, and were inundated with requests to support both PlayStation Move and sharp shooter. So we’re glad to be able to finally confirm the news!”
While the news of Resistance 3 supporting both features might not be essentially groundbreaking, it is still nice to know that those with Move or an expensive 3DTV can put them to good use.
Resistance 3 launches for the PlayStation 3 on September 6.
GAH! Total Bullshyte. If there are drones attacking my ship - OBVIOUSLY I need to defend myself an Malikov. Don't TELL me what the objective is. That should be made clear by the storytelling done between levels and during the game. Not through random "points" brought up through text.
Blagh. Disagree.
Looks like challenging gameplay though.

I liked this bit:
Quote :
A big emphasis in Resistance 3 is opening up the gameplay spaces, allowing players to not only choose which weapon to use for each situation via the weapon wheel, but also how to approach each situation while using the environment to their advantage.

is gonna make the gameplay different. I run out of ammo on one gun I'm gonna change to another, as long as it makes things dead its not going to make me play any differently.

I like it because it means I can try different things and choose the gun that works best for me. I hated R2 because it pretty much forced me into using gun A here, gun B, there. Not much choice.

Im just happy to seed drop ships again.
The whole waves of enemies teleporting in on beacons was silly. It totally took away the feeling of being in a war.
