| The 5-7-9 or 5-7-11 killstreak combos = r@pe if you can put it together. I've stopped using those, however since I have my 1000 kills with both the predator and harriers now. I'm running UAV, Precision Strike and Pavelow now and I kinda like it - reminds me of the good ol COD4 days. Probably gonna switch back after I get my 1000 UAV's challenge done.

| Ya, how did people ever cope with just using the same three killstreak rewards every time? I switched from Sentry gun to Predator for the same reasons ETW specified, but after many Predator misses I put it back on and started looking for more inventive/safer spots to place it... The wing of the plane on Terminal, on top of the fuselage on Scrap yard, the balcony above 'B' on Karachi, etc... |

The key to killstreaks, for me, is not to think about getting them. Let the first one come within the context of playing your regular game. Once you get the first one, you can start thinking about chaining them together. thats what i was talking about with my dad last night. when i think about getting the KS, i end up dieing do to a stupid move. | That's right. I know the 5-7-11 is there, but all I try to do in a game is get kills. Once I get 5 and manage not to miss with the Pred then I do get a bit cautious about the 7th, but otherwise I just play normally and take the rewards when they come, but I don't have a bad game just because I didn't get any killstreak rewards -- it's fun with them, but it's also fun without them. I'm looking forward to the new barebones mode -- that should really show me how I stand. |

sweet wadey, you did that quickly. took me til like lvl 50 to get flawless lol. only had one since then and it was the other day - Kilmory wrote:
- At the moment I have Care Package, Sentry Gun, Harriers. What do you all think? Give up on the Care Package?
maybe get rid of the sentry and use pred missile? or sentry then pave low. pave low is a pretty sweet one to use, i liked it, but ive moved to ac130/choppers gunner cause theyre more fun lol i currently go with a a 5-7-11 ks combo (pred, herrier, 130/chopper gunner) i wish i has my nuke on the other day lol i got 7 kills w/o pred then used it to get 9 then got a double off my harrier for the 11. that was my other flawless and i went 26-0 and none of my kills after 7 were from my gun lol |

| I got my first Flawless just by running off and hiding in a far corner behind a car on the low ground spawn point on Quarry with a cold blooded class on for the entire match lol. Then the time I got it after I prestiged was my 20-0 game on Favela.
I'd say get rid of the Sentry Gun for a Predator as well. I would use Care Package, Predator, Precision Airstrike in the past. Basically get 5 kills for the Predator, then as long as you kill one guy with it you're guaranteed your Air Strike. Another good setup is Predator, Precision, Harrier. That way you just need the 5, and if you're lucky enough to get a double kill with your Predator then you've instantly got your Harriers. Right now I'm trying out Predator, Attack Helicopter, Stealth Bomber. |

| All good advice here guys. Thank you. Particularly like ETW's point about not waiting for crates. Think I'm going for that option. I must say I'm really supprised about the preference for the Predator Missile over a sentry gun. I think the most I have ever got from a PM is 3 kills but usually just the one, from a sentry gun I get a lot more.
I liked the advice on sentry gun placement thanks, that probably deserves a thread of its own along with where to place a Harrier strike/stealth bomber strike. |

| You are right about not thinking about kill streaks the more i think about getting the the worse i play just think of next kill. Mw2 has been frustrating me a lot i all ways get matched with high level players 50-70 even when i was level 1 and have struggled a fair bit .but over the last few days i have been matched with a lot more diff leveled players from 5-70 and my hard work playin with high level players has done me some good now i am starting to smash players at the same level as me and my snipping has picked up a lot to mainly from the thread i started at IW forum my sniper class is set up as .50cal. thermal . soh.stopping power.steddy aim .what do you guy think of this for snipping? i am not great at snipping yet but am improving so any tip would be great |

| i think im actually starting to get good at this game my kd has been officially over one for a couple days now, and i think ive pretty much figured out most of the maps. rundown always throws me off for some reason. the only problem is that i do terribly in almost anything other than merc tdm for some reason, when i play with you guys im almost always balls, and game modes like domination i just throw myself at the flag lol. mostly cause i find teammates arent doing anything but stare at a flag thats been captured by the enemy rather than playing the objective c4 kicks ass for this though |

| Lots of people camp in hardcore Eat. I dunno why though. I hate to say it but I seem to do better when I camp in HC as opposed to camping in regular TDM. For me, when I'm in a game I just try not to die alot, but that seems to never happen. If I'm lucky I'll get a predator every now and then, but my Attack Chopper and Stealth Bomber come around far less often. My K/D was up at a 0.70 earlier today, but it went back down to a 0.69 by the end of the day |

| you can camp better in HC because there isnt a map (unless you push start) or kill cam. you dont pop up unless you use a loud weapon (once again on the start map) and/or UAV is on. sure the camera snaps to you when you get a kill on someone but it so brief that if you were concealed or any distance away no one would know where you were |

| Yeah, that's the one thing campers hate: having the kill cam give away their hiding spot. |

| I have been getting much much better with this game. EXCEPT when I play with my clan, I have no idea why. I started looking at this yesterday and I think its due to the fact that many do not have the new maps and its all I have been playing since they came out. I think part of me forgot the older maps and weapons I used.
I went 1 and 13 yesterday and was so pissed (playing with a few of you) that I freaking almost broke my PS3. I put in GOW3 and played that to calm down. Went back into MW2 and went 24-2 wtf? |

Sleight of hand pro, Stopping power pro, and steady aim is exactly what I use. Works well with the Barrett and Intervention. |

| GG's to Wadey and Banded. MW 2 totally robbed me today, and Wadey is my witness. I was going 15-2 on Favela, and all of a sudden before the halfway point the server disconnected and ended the game. |

| Bad connection or lag switch? I was playing MW2 yesterday and there was this guy who moved around the map in 3-foot jumps. When you saw him in front of you he was 'teleporting' every 3 feet. When you saw through his kill cam (first person view) it was doing it then too. The thing is, when I saw lag switchers in R:FoM they only did the teleporting thing when you statrted shooting at them and then they would jump back 10-15 feet as soon as you got close (plus their gun sounds would change). This guy, however, didn't seem to be playng any differently and he could still be killed, only it was a bit harder because he would sudenly be 2-3 ft to the left or right of where you were shooting. Do you think he just had a really sucky connection and there was a lag in sending the updated movement data to the servers? |

| I've started noticing this a lot too. Very laggy connections with people teleporting around. Usually combined with a few games where we have lost it when the server times out so I tend to give them the benefit of doubt. I checked my KD for a laugh last night - 1.27. That seems quite good to me so I'll leave it another couple of months and I'll look again |
