I'm pretty sure both situations involved ledges, and someone hanging, and I was throwing grenades onto the ledge, and he happened to get caught in the blast. Reo blew me up today, after I tried to shotty the guy keeping him pinned down. Sometimes, we're not incredibly cohesive. Always fun though.


Also, Vash knows this feeling better than anyone. I can't count the number of times I've BBQ'd and grenade'd him.

I would be pretty angry if ND reduced all non Plunder related medals by half, 25% reduction would be a little more reasonable. If ND halved the value of medals the games would end faster and make maxing out a rarity. Also on the note of scaling "Captured" medals, there's talk of a bonus being awarded for capturing the treasure five times fast, it sounds like an effective motivation and I like it.

I could honestly care less about them changing the value of the medals in Plunder. Especially since they've stated multiple times that they want the money to come from the Super Shiny and Mysterious New Medal, and with the potential of scaling Captured medals. I still think it'll largely be moot, I seriously doubt that ND will remove Plunder from the list of game types that affect K/D. I hope that it'll be a solid step in the right direction, if they do everything else, but really, I don't see anything changing. The promise of more money for actually playing Plunder is moot, because we have our BoH's to make sure that we hit the cap. Working for the treasure, to get a few thousand pales in comparison to just getting 5 kills, and raking in the dough.

Yeah, probably. I've been so frustrated with the game the past few days, that I just couldn't play today. My head just isn't in it, I'm so distracted with everything else going on, that it's hard for me to focus, and play. I'm constantly making horrible decisions, and just making awful plays. I need to try to unwind, and focus, and get back to camping.

I'm running around like an idiot, and getting gunned down. Places I wouldn't even dream of being, if I were playing normally. I'll get it back, I'm just in a massive funk.


I also officially hate The Lost City. I keep managing to glitch through the DEagle Wall, somehow, and it keeps costing me a death, because I'm sure as hell not going to stay under the map. I don't quite have it figured out, unfortunately, so I can't prevent it, or give more info to ND, with the video's I've sent, but it seems to have something to do with the way I jump up onto those ledges, and hop down after taking a quick look around. Keep falling right through that wall, like some kind of Scooby-Doo Mystery Bookcase.

I really don't see the fun in camping all the time, Endlo [You must be registered and logged in to see this image.] . I mean I do it A LOT, but eventually it gets boring, and it seems that if I kill one to two people, I have to move. It seems that they almost always get me, (other then that one spot in the Plaza.)

Everyone has a different style, and I'm a very FAL-centric camper. I normally do well enough for myself, it's just that my head's really not been in the game, lately. Just distracted with personal stuff, and real life drama. Hard to focus, and I just end up putting myself into awful situations.

Branching out a little bit. Had some really good games earlier, with Ratchet and Leo.

I'm starting to get my groove back a little bit, and I've found my booster set-up. Now I just need to work on my atrocious aim. Had some games I was really proud of earlier though, and I'm pretty sure 16-3 is my best score yet, on Sanctuary. That map just gives me so much trouble, but I'm getting better on it. My booster set-up is pretty low-impact, Situational Awareness/Half-Loaded, but I get enough money, and I'm really not all that affected by Half. I just need to tighten up my aim again, and it should be smooth sailing.

Also trying to expand my style a bit, to be more versatile. Using all the tools available to me. Should be interesting finally starting to use the Hammer, it's one weapon that I've never really used. No reason to handicap myself though, it's not like I have any reason to not use it, pride or otherwise, I typically just give it to teammates who were better suited.

I'm starting to use the AK more, but I still hate it. It's just so clunky sometimes, for me, that it's hard for me to see how everyone else does so well with it. I'm just so adjusted to the FAL I guess, that I'm struggling to see it's merit. It's a well-rounded gun though, for sure, I just wish I had the pinpoint accuracy sometimes.

My PS3 has had it I got the Yellow Light Of Death and I've sent it in for repairs. The estimated turnaround time (time it will take for the system to be repaired and returned) is between 10 and 14 days so no gaming for me for a while.

Good games earlier Endlo and Leo. Finally got to level 54...Can you say double negatives?

Oh well. Have fun with Half Loaded, I know I didn't, man the kills I missed out on using that freaking booster , try to mitigate it with Rapid hands and you'll make about as much money with double negatives but with less frustration, I mean my aim isn't bad but there where plenty of double kills that didn't turn out so pretty.

It's all gone. I went negative all night, I'm still playing horribly. No matter what I do, or how I try to play, I'm just awful. Completely awful.

Silver, sorry to hear about your PS3, I look forward to tearing it up when you get it back.


I enjoy Half-Loaded. It's one of my favorite negatives, and it's one of my favorite boosters. I had a pretty good time with it, and it's my negative of choice right now, as well.

Endlo, may I suggest something if your aim is the issue?. Cam mentions in his Youtube videos that it's important to point your camera where the enemy is likely to show, now at this point this is second nature but have you tried putting the center point of your screen (the location of your reticule should you aim) at that exact part that you're lookiing at?. I find that this helps to take a lot of the readjusting out of aiming, which is important while running half-loaded. This is of course only applicable to mine and Raist's playstyle (as well as many others) of being on the move but with your mobile-camper style it should still be something to consider if you're wasting precious bullets before hitting your target.

If this isn't the problem then maybe you're just in a slump, I have them and I imagine many others do too. Mine have been more shallow than previous lately but still annoying all the same. Best advice is to take it all in strides and ride it out. You'll find your rhythm again and maintaining it is where the real skill is.

10 days minimum is going to feel like agony, just thinking of the double cash I'm missing out on. I could have hit 58 by the end of all of this. Oh well, maybe it's good that I have to earn it, somehow.

Endlo, it seems odd trying to give you pointers when I basically learned all I know from you, but if you really are considering to be more on the move in your style, skip the AK for now, until you get to a point where runnin'n'gunnin feels more comfortable.
I'd go with the FAL and 92FS ONLY, as a basic setup. I used to rely on the AK for a long time, but with half-loaded on it really is a challenge. (Not using DTI)
When FAL'ing with HL I dont really notice a change at all, since I usually reload every few seconds.
Same goes for the 92FS; I've noticed Leo, Vash and FatAmazingBeast using it alot, and that for a very good reason - no spread (duh), very little recoil, pin-point accuracy and very powerful.

So in a way, it's sort of like FAL'ing but in CQC instead (where you really need faster fire rate).


Also, we REALLY need to get that 1on1 lesson happen soon, haha.
I've been playing around on some maps and have found some routes to take that I hadn't even thought were possible before, so I can only imagine what you have in store.

I was sooo drunk on Saturday, LoL.. It was funny watching back the cinema file and seeing myself running around in random directions, getting in everyone's way and getting shot up a lot.

The lag issue is definitely becoming worse in this game... Usually if I'm on my own I can find a decent lobby with some close ping rates but this weekend it was pretty abysmal, I was close to hurling my controller at the wall on more than one occasion. I woudn't mind betting that it has something to do with your 'slump' as well, Ender.

Had some weird disconnects last night. Network was pretty darn slow for awhile there. Rawr
