10 days minimum is going to feel like agony, just thinking of the double cash I'm missing out on. I could have hit 58 by the end of all of this. Oh well, maybe it's good that I have to earn it, somehow.

I'm amazed that Reo made something of that spot. I've never used it, it's just kinda there. It's a spot that you use to confuse someone, because they'll run into the top of the golden hallway, and you'll be gone. Nobody looks up there. Ever.

Along the same times, I learned about a pretty cool spot on Village. It's a hanging spot only, but it has a decent line of sight, and you're really obscured. It's really easy to get to, as well, it's just one of those spots that I don't think many people know about. I've never seen anybody up there before yesterday, so I was kind of confused. You can actually hang off of the building next to the high-side spawn-point.


I don't know that my slump is really associated with lag. There are a few situations where it's noticeable, but you've just gotta take it as it comes, it's really to be expected. It was pretty bad last night though, admittedly, along with matchmaking just dying. There were multiple points last night, in parties with Leo and Ratchet, and Charlie, Raist and Azira where it just would not find a game, for 5+ minutes. Very frustrating.
I think a large part of it is just me not being able to put my head in the game. It's still hard for me to focus, and pay attention, and as a result, I'm playing poorly, on top of again trying this stupid branching out thing. It was a disaster last time, it's gone about the same this time. I need to just step back, go back to my old style, and figure it out. Make it work again, and find a way to put all the other peripheral stuff outta my head, when I'm playing. As it stands now, I can't, and then I do poorly, and become more and more frustrated. Then the problem compounds itself, because on top of everything else, I'm in a bad mood.

I was doing really badly until my brain switched from RDR controls to U2 ones, and then I was doin' awesome! And then the over-tired, giggly-ness came in and I started doing badly again.

It was fun though. It didn't take you long to switch back, I'm pretty sure our first game ended up being that 3 on 5, and you picked everything back up pretty quickly.

It was nice getting some games in with you though, they were definitely a blast. Plus, I got to beat on Raist a little bit, that was fun too.

hey guys hows it going..i havent been here in a while to busy with work and double cash...But i finally hit 58 and got the BOH come get some and i have to say i love it its by far my favorite negative and the most satisfying in my option theres nothing better than killing someone who knew you were coming...and ive been doing pretty well i had a 22-5 match wtih it on..plus got a fury ive been using it and dti...only ma- i dont do well with it on is the highrise for some reason even though im still getting scores like 12-9 hopefully ill at 3\least h5t 59 by the time double cash is over im a quarter of the way there with 2 days to go so well see

How's it going, Hollorr? It's been a while, man. Glad to hear the game is going well for you though, and to hear you're having a better of time of Come Get Some than any of us did. It's my default double-cash booster, or when I want to be a jerk, and use Down the Irons, but really, I can't stand it. It's such an odd negative, but it seems like you're making it work for you.

You should hit IX, no worries. CGS makes sure you get a bunch of money every game, even if you don't cap, you'll come close. If you're gonna be on tonight, I'll try to catch you. Too long since we tore it up last. Still rocking the shotguns?

I think it's starting to come back. Like I was saying, I need to focus on going back to my original style, and just playing conservatively, and intelligently.
Got a few Furies tonight, and have been doing relatively well.

We need to do a workshop on teamwork. There was a certain game tonight, that was embarrassing, on a lot of levels, for a party of four, with mics. I know that I might be in the minority, given how seriously I take this, and some of you guys chill out and just have fun with it. That's awesome, and I don't mean to imply that's any less a reason to play, or that it's a bad thing, but I want an interest check on this, because I think it'd be a necessary, and helpful workshop, for some of us who might be wanting a more cohesive team.


Got some hatemail again today, from the game we lost, and from a few people unhappy with how Vash and I play. We dominated Sanctuary earlier, because we were able to rally the entire team behind our gameplan, we stuck to it, and executed it well. 50-12. I want to see more of that, and I want to know who else here feels the same, because I'm willing to put in the work, if everyone else is. We're not a competitive focused clan, or playerbase all the time, but some of us are, and if we can get at least a few guys rallied behind that, then it's something I'm more than willing to put together, and develop.



As far as the post-loss hatemail, I won't name names, but I know that at the very least, your friends read this, and I'm sure they'd be more than happy to pass it on. Keep in mind the other times we've played. None of those times, did any of my guys say a word to you, or your crew, before, during or after the matches. We took our wins with dignity and grace, and chose not to stoop to the level of any of you guys, and trashtalk and belittle any of you, until you lashed into us. I'm not going to let you talk down to me, or any of my guys, I'll sure as hell stand up and tell you how it is.

This drama involved 2 people, and I put it to bed. Someone else wants to keep it alive, and growing, that's fine by me, but know that I'm not the one throwing stones here. I didn't say a word to you after the fact, I just told you, and the people who asked my side, and told them they were more than welcome to come to you to hear yours. There was no need to create some pseudo-rivalry, and involve entire crews, it's petty and childish. Get over yourself, and climb down off your soapbox.

Well, I think I'm going to take a a break from Uncharted. I just have had this overwhelming feeling to play another game, and even though Dead Space was a nice fix for my whole Online VS Offline mindspace, I just feel like another online game would be a nice chance of pace. It's nothing personal with anybody, I love you all, but just some of the frustration of everything is bringing me down.

I feed off of people's energy, I bet many of you have noticed. When everybody is in a great mood, joking around, just playing to have fun, I go crazy. I will blow everyone up with an RPG and we will all laugh like crazy. I will yell out comments about pancake mix and pump away, and we all laugh. But when everybody that I'm surrounded by are frustrated with either their own performance, the game itself, getting to a certain level, people not wearing negatives, people playing cheap, people trashtalking... it takes a lot out of me. This game no longer offers me trophies, and as much as I would like to get to 60, the only reason I'm doing it is because I have so much fun with you guys. Some of my best gaming nights have been playing this, but it seems like that is slowly dwindling away. We're becoming more and more focused on winning, good K/D, and leveling up. I remember when it used to just be about playing with buds (with owning coming naturally), I don't feel that much anymore.

And for everyone who was there tonight for that showdown match, I know that it sucked that we lost, but I was genuinely pissed when our teamate got kicked from the party just because he didn't do well that match. As a clan, that shouldn't be the way we operate. We should play together, through the good matches and the bad, just because we enjoy each other's company. Good gamers aren't defined by their K/D, but their attitude, and hell the guy who got kicked has one of the best attitudes in games I've ever seen.

I have a few reasons I will play a game online for a long period of time, and this is the order from least to most important.

1. Trophies & Goals: I strive for trophies, or personal achievements. They give me something to work towards, so the game doesn't get stale for me. Uncharted 2 has no more trophies to offer me, and the only achievement left is getting my X, but that is coming slowly and I don't think I really have the patience or the time to finally hit that milestone. When I am all out of trophies and achievements to work towards, I rely on the next point...

2. The Game is Fun: I won't play a game if I don't enjoy it, no matter how many trophies or achievements it contains. Uncharted 2 is a very fun game, I'll give it that. It just has so many great moments in multiplayer, and it's so much fun. The maps, the guns, the mechanics... it just all works so well. However, after chugging 5 days of gameplay into it, it all gets a little stale, and when that happens, theres only one thing left that keeps me going, and that is...

3. The People: I will play a game far beyond it's normal playability standards just because of the people I play with. And that's whats kept me going, but like I said, when people are always down, frustrated, complaining, etc etc... I just can't take it anymore. I need a break, I want a break, and thats whats happening.

So I'm sorry guys, and once again, I don't want to make any of it personal, but people have been less enjoyable to play with, and I know there are many other games that I want to experience. So here is to many good times, many made friendships, and many 'your mom' jokes. Drink up fellas

I'm going on hiatus. I can't play this anymore, attitudes are shifting in two very different directions, and it's not fair to anybody. Charlie's right, and I'm not going to contribute to it any longer.

I have an announcement to make.

As all of you know I have two PSN accounts: Azira013 and Stellazira. Some of you may also be aware of the fact that I'm trying to move away from Azira013 and use solely Stellazira. However, since there will probably be a significant amount of R2 activity until the sequel comes out, I can't entirely abandon it yet.

So, here's the deal:

If you were on BOTH of my lists, I assessed what games I have played with you and know what you might have. If, for example, I've only played U2 with you, then you came of Azira013's list but remained on Stellazira's. It all depends on what games are being played.

If you feel that I took you off my list but didn't want to be off, then let me know and you'll be put back on it. We all make mistakes. There's lots of room on both lists, so if you want to be on either one then that's fine. Just be aware I do check the mail on Azira013 regularly and will play R2 on it if there's the need, but when the sequel comes out I will likely do my best to clean the list off and move people to my other list.

Hopefully that made sense.

As far as I'm concerned, the issue is resolved. Based on the PMs I've received back, it appears to be the common consensus. No need to bring it up further, unless there's something unresolved that anybody would like to talk to me about. I'm more than available on here, on AIM, or on PSN.

That being said, I love you guys. You're all some of the most fun people I've met, and I hope that this whole issue doesn't blow out of proportion, like I feel it was initially. There was some differing ideology, and I hope that all of us involved can simply move on, enjoy each other's company, and enjoy our gaming together. It's really that simple. None of this needed to blow up the way that it did, there were some things unexplained, and left unsaid, and I apologize. That was my fault, and again, as far as I'm aware, and concerned, the issue is no longer.
