Also, its been reported that taming salmon breaks the game. Just thought you guys should know.

Just that. No, really. There are ways to get animal companions, and since salmon count as animals, they're viable targets. It also borked the game when a guy tried it at quakecon (source: Invisible Walls Podcast, most recent edition).
