Yeah, lag's been all over the place lately. In the Core games, at least.
Played some Gun Game matches last night, hoping for it to settle down.

I really do like that mode. Wish they had ranked versions. CoD Points are useless to me.

Can't snipe with the sniper rifles, or get any kills with the China Lake without great difficulty. Sniper stuff is mostly just fire and pray for me.
Best way I've found to get kills with the CL is to go for direct impacts against people camping for their shotgun round, or against a noob sniper who's standing still and focusing on one direction (like I do).

Definitely a fun change of pace to be fighting in small sections of large maps too.

o.O Serious? I had you in my sights that whole time my end. LAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAG! I particularly liked knifing a guy who then turned around and knifed me. (-_-) ah well its all fun and games.

I think I'll get myself back into wager matches too monkey, they are fun.

yup, same here but watching it in theatre we both look at bit silly and then we fall over.

Earlier that same game there's a ridiculous sequence where I spawn and die immediately three times over.

I really need to read the manual and put some clips together.

For me during the week usually between about 7.30pm till midnight, depending on how knackered I am and what's on TV.

Weekends I have to share with the kids so they'll probably be on most of saturday morning and sunday afternoon. I try and fit in my playtime in between that and whatever household chores I've been assigned. I need to finish off the hedges this weekend.

I only caught you the other day cos I had the afternoon off and had some time to kill (geddit?) before I went to the dentist.

Hopefully our paths will cross at the weekend.

Weekends, 7 pm to 11:30pm GMT, weekends 2pm to 12pm (random pop in times) GMT.

LOL , I'm sooooo bad at this multiplayer , sure theres lag but there must be other reasons why others have such good games and I go 5-13 . I just need to get a bit sharper i think

Remember, personal skill with the guns is important, but not as important as tactical ability in this game. Unlike in other titles, there's very little 'dance' when you encounter an enemy. The kill usually just goes to the person who shoots first. So the trick is to put yourself in positions where you know you'll shoot first.
Watch your radar and try to predict where the enemy will be headed based on the layout of the map (which it's important to learn) and the type of game mode you're playing.
If you can get a look at them, but are out of your gun's effective range, then do not fire and give yourself away. If you can, then try to note what kind of gun they're using. Not always possible, but knowing what general type can let you better predict what area they'll head to. Ie. Snipers will likely head to certain spots, people with sub machine guns will generally try to stick to close quarters areas, etc.

What type of setup are you using? Guns, perks, equipment...
