| I have never played anything like Skyrim before although I did watch my son play Oblivion when it first came out. I have to say, having completed it 100% I am hooked. Totally love it. I have a couple of newby questions though...1. This DLC thats coming is that like an add on to the game? Do we get to keep the armour and weapons we've got, or does it mean I have to start again?
Thanks |

| It's my understanding that this just adds more to the game world. You'll never lose your stats or anything, but it has happened in other DLCs that they temporarily take away your weapons/armor/items. You always get it back though. Sometimes bringing in the highest damage weapons or armor of invincibility you've forged can kill the experience of the DLC. |

| Thanks for that Monkey, much appreciated. I was worried about losing my armour and weapons, seeing as though it took me forever to get it. Now having read your post, I'm rethinking because the last thing I want to do is kill the experience of the game, I never thought of it like that. Really looking forward to the DLC - Dawnguard having looked at some of the articles about it. |

| You mean the Journey thats on sale on PSN right now ? Did you like it ?? I'll have to wait and see what the replay value is. DLC isnt a game from the ground up its just additional content. When I get DLC for a shooter I can get many hours of play from it I'd like to read see how it works from other Skyrim fans before I make a purchase. |

| I am now officially confused what is this 'Journey' that you speak of? I thought the DLC for Skyrim is called Dawnguard? Am I having another 'blonde' moment? |

| Journey is a different game. Very short, but well spoken of by those who play it. A small indie title. - chica wrote:

Yeah, I personally intend to start a new character when I play a DLC. They almost always come with a recommended level so I level up to around that. I think I remember reading that Dawnguard's was level 10. |

| I'm not sure what I'm going to do, looking at the footage, it looks you're going to need some mighty armour and weapons. Which route did you go down Monkey? magic, heavy armour etc I'll have a look at the Journey game, never heard of it before, so now i'm intrigued |

| I made multiple characters. They always give you the tools to complete the missions within a DLC, so don't worry about that. |

| Yep a total FU from them. Dont they realize there are a lot of very cool games coming out pretty soon. Why should I go and get the DLC for SKyrim when I'll be so into Borderlands 2 it wont be funny. I was totally psyched for this and would have been a fan for life if Bethesda had treated us PS3 owners even half fairly. Now Im all screw you aholes, I got plenty of game $ and you wont see a penny of it. |

| Someone should step up to them and really give them a grilling, this just isn't on at all. |

Crap port, DLC over month late and patches over a month late despite being the worse system affected. They even released the game KNOWING that a number of PS3 owners would have a poor experience of the game, it's scandalous really |

Those things aren't their fault. The others certainly are, but not those. Bethesda agrees to M$' crap "Me First!" contract, or they lose between 1/3 and 1/2 of their potential customers since M$ won't carry them. Patches taking as long as they do is purely Sony's fault. Everything is slow to get through their terrible QA process. I agree that PS3 seems to be the least supported version, and I'm not happy about it either. I'll likely end up waiting and picking up a GOTY copy used down the line. |

| Wow that is a big Eff you to PC and PS3 Skyrim gamers. If they are having problems porting or never planned on dropping the DLC at all why not be honest and just say so. This hurts me more than it should. I really loved my hours in the Skyrim world and would have happily dropped whatever $ they charged for additional playtime. Now Im just sad, angry and frustrated. |

| Ouch. Really was not expecting that. What possible reason could motivate them to do something like ignore the PC? I could almost understand the PS3 since it's the hardest to develop for, and has the worst, most annoying QA process, but the PC? That's cutting their own throats. |

More than likely it will be a few months down the road. How long before any of the DLC came out for Oblivion? |

considering they are continuing to pay the costs to release new updates on the ps3 which dont get them any profits at all, id say it is coming eventually. its not like they totally dropped support for the ps3. also they arent saying its not coming to ps3/pc. just that is hasnt been announced. the question is what are the planning? why wait? |
