Once you take the oath of one side or the other you are committed to them. The quests for either side are very similar in nature taking over forts, overunning cities, uniting Skyrim..... same shit different side.

No, it doesn't.
If you want good (for steel) steel weapons, make them at skyforge, though. Pretty sure you need to do the companions quest line to a point to get to do it, though. It's not going to be better than Orcish or anything, though.

I found that lunar forge myself. There are a heap of weapons around it which have the lunar enchantment. Just disenchant one of these and you can enchant other weapons with it to beef up the price quite a bit. It may be second only to the banish enchantment in terms of how much it can increase the value of a weapon.

pretty sure skyforge doesn't make the weapons you forge any better, it just allows you to forge some weapons that you can only forge through it which are better then normal steel weapons

Is the level cap 50? Once you hit the cap do you still level up your perks? Any news on DLC?

The level cap is when all your skills are at 100 which I believe is around lvl 81. Yes, you will get a perk point every level up until then. No major news on upcoming DLC but I'm anticipating something big as Bethesda has mentioned an upcoming announcement for Skyrim....

It really gets harder to level up once you hit 50. When it first starts out it seems like you level up every time you break wind. Unless you use the Oghma Infinium glitch it would be difficult to get to 81 in a reasonable amount of time. I was level 59 when I platinumed

I farted and leveled up at the same time once so ya know, it does happen.
Ah, but Skyrim was my first plat........ you never forget your first time and Skyrim was gentle and took her time with me. It was an amazing experience.
Anybody ever play The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion. I'm sort of interested in it. I couldn't find a thread on it so I figured it would not be out of line to ask in this thread... I'd appreciate and input.
IF I'm going to try very hard to ignore all the terrible things concerning crashing and freezing that happened all the time in Oblivion... (it has happened to PCs and PS3s in my family).
THE SHIVERING ISLES WAS THE BESTEST-- “Look Az, I’m really happy you liked that, and Imma Let you finish. But Morrowind is the Elder Scrolliest game of all time.” --THING IN THE ELDER SCROLLS EVAR!!!1!1!!
Just sayin'.
